LA WineFest 2012 Fast Approaching

Wine aficionados get your glasses ready. LA WineFest is gearing up for their 7th annual wine tasting event. Los Angeles Magazine at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood will host the weekend-long festival on Saturday June 9th and Sunday June 10th.

More than 500 wines, spirits and brews will be available for attendees to sample including a variety of both national and international options. Thirteen different restaurants and food trucks will dish out an array of options from barbeque to waffles and hotdogs to eggrolls.

More than 6,000 visitors are expected to attend according to Event Manager Scherr Lillico.

Singer Jane Fuller, joined by guitarist Mike Gallegos take the stage on Saturday and salsa band Sazon will perform on Sunday. Educational classes about wine, scotch and pairings are planned to keep festival go-ers informed and involved.

Tickets start at $20 and portions of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the City of Hope. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
