This dish is made using thinly sliced mutton and vegetables that are basted and roasted.
Another one of Hokkaido’s most popular dishes is the Ishikari-nabe, which is a very typical dish of Hokkaido. This popular Japanese dish is made from salmon chunks that are stewed in a miso paste broth with vegetables and tofu.
