Hard Rock Cafe Completely Overhauls Its Menu For First Time

Hard Rock Cafe is hoping they hit the right note with their brand-new menu, the first complete menu re-vamp in the music-themed restaurant chain's 40-year-plus history. According to BusinessWeek, the rock n roll-themed chain is seriously trying to change its image along with the menu. It's pretty likely that when you walk into a Hard Rock these days, you'll hear more Miley than Metallica, because they're looking to appeal to younger customers, not just aging rockers.

"We took a hard look at every single menu item and aimed to modify where needed, including added ingredients, sauces, how sides accompany the main dishes, and even what type of lettuce should appear on top of our Legendary Burgers," Hard Rock International Executive Chef Russell Booth said in a statement.

New menu items include several new salads and sandwiches along with some other more unusual creations like smoked brisket and pulled pork-topped nachos, Air Mexico margarita flights that come in a choice of three different flavors, and alcoholic milkshakes blended with rum and vanilla vodka. The menu launches this week at Hard Rock Cafe outlets across the nation.
