Gordon Ramsay Buys Los Angeles Mansion

In addition to winning £250,000 from his father-in-law in a lawsuit and opening his first Las Vegas restaurant, foul-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has snagged a five-bedroom home in Los Angeles, Calif.

The 7,413-square-foot home also has six bathrooms, a swimming pool, and obviously, a luxury kitchen. Ramsay and his wife will still keep their home in South West London; their four kids will still attend school in the U.K. The California base, however, will be useful while the chef kicks off his third season of MasterChef, filmed in Los Angeles.

Ramsay has also started filming episodes in New York for his latest television show, Hotel Hell, which focuses on the hospitality industry.

"Gordon will be spending more time in America," a source told the Telegraph. "A family home in L.A. means they can stop living out of suitcases."

Bonus: Word is the Ramsays will be close to family friends David and Victoria Beckham.
