Foodspotting Announces Photography Contest

We know you're obsessed with snapping pics of your desserts and other delectables on your smartphone, so why not take your amateur food photography to the next level?

The popular food app Foodspotting has teamed up with ViewBug, a San Diego-based photography web site, to offer a food photography contest ending in June. Simply snap your photo and submit it to ViewBug to be judged by Foodspotting CEO Alexa Andrzejewski and celebrity photographer Rebecca Karamehmedovic. The winners will receive some professional photography equipment (like an awesome portable photo studio), a food photography book, plus access to ViewBug Pro.

Said ViewBug co-founder Ori Guttin in a press release, "We love the Foodspotting app, there are so many artistic and creative photos being uploaded all the time. We thought that this contest would be a great idea to discover the talent behind the Foodspotting photographs."
