The Fog Cutter Recipe
This recipe is brought to us by the expat hideaway The Little Red Door in the Marais neighborhood in Paris. Its tiki-inspired Fog Cutter, with Cognac Merlet, rum, and peanut syrup, shows how versatile the spirit can be in mixed drinks.
Ingredients
- 1 Ounce Cognac Merlet
- 1 Ounce Plantation Three Stars Silver Rum
- 1 Ounce orange juice
- 1/2 Ounce lime juice
- 2/3 Ounces peanut syrup
- 1/3 Ounce dry Curaçao
- 1 Teaspoon Pimento Dram
Directions
Shake ingredients in an ice-filled shaker and strain into a tiki mug. Garnish with a sprig of mint, a slice of orange, and nutmeg.
