Farming Brothers Release 'Fresh Prince' Parody
Will Smith is getting plenty of love these days (plus Jaden Smith) thanks to blockbusters like After Earth, but we must admit we do miss old Will Smith from the days of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
So thankfully we have this throwback from the Peterson Brothers, who hit us with LMFAO and "Call Me Maybe" parodies last summer. This time, the three brothers took us back with the Fresh Prince rap, except it's all about farming, obviously.
Sample lyrics? "Now this is a story all about how / Our life is spent wiping sweat off our brow / And we'd like to take a minute just to stop and say/ What goes down on the farm in a typical day."
Granted, these are pretty easy lyrics to adapt to any purposes (moving to Bel-Air, growing up in Kansas, making it in the big city, etc.) But we're still waiting for "Song of the Summer" contenders (Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop"? Daft Punk's "Get Lucky"?), so this is good filler for the time being. It obviously does not compare to the Fresh Prince rap with Will and Jaden Smith, but we can only ask so much from a home movie.
