Ethel M Chocolates Launches Spring-Inspired Collection
Ethel M Chocolates, celebrating its 36th year, has launched a new spring-inspired collection of chocolates and treats just in time for Easter. The Nevada-based gourmet chocolate company added a milk chocolate strawberry crème egg and a dark chocolate raspberry crème egg as well as new small packaged gifts to its extensive line of treats.
In addition to new confections to fill holiday baskets, Ethel M redesigned its Easter packaging with a contemporary egg-shaped box (decorated with a charming print of either hatching chicks or hoppy bunnies) housing an eight-piece assortment of chocolate eggs.
Ethel M Chocolates has also repackaged its 16-piece tins with the classic chocolate collection, satin crèmes, and mixed pecan brittle. The new packaging features a springtime design of colorful flowers and is a perfect Mother's Day or Father's Day gift.
Other holiday items include the festive "Hoppy Easter" basket including the 24-piece brittle, 12-piece satin crèmes, two mint dark chocolate bars, two chocolate pecan packs and a caramel apple, a plush stuffed Easter bunny, and a new open-faced box of four signature chocolates.
The chocolatier opened in 1981. Forrest Mars Sr., the man behind Mars, Snickers, and M& M's, wanted to start a chocolate company to honor his mother, Ethel, and her traditional way of making gourmet chocolates. Today, the company still makes chocolates the old-fashioned way with no preservatives.
On April 15 and 16, Ethel M Chocolates will host its Easter Weekend Spring Spectacular, where friends and families can join in a fun-filled holiday at the factory store and cactus garden in Henderson, Nevada. Festivities will include face painters, balloon artists, a bounce house, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Guests can also shop for the perfect Easter gift at the on-site factory store.
The new spring-inspired chocolate collection, as well as the entire product line of Ethel M treats, can be ordered online.
