Chipotle Dishwasher Walks For Calvin Klein 10 Days After She's Discovered

Remington Williams was washing dishes in an Austin, Texas, Chipotle when she was approached by a modeling scout who asked her to come to New York City. Days later, Williams signed a contract with DNA Models, the agency responsible for big names like Linda Evangelista and Natalia Vodianova. Right away, the red-haired beauty scored a gig with Calvin Klein, whose designer, Raf Simons, taught Williams how to strut the catwalk.

Her experience thus far has been positive to the utmost. "All the girls I've met want each other [to] succeed, which is encouraging," she told Vogue. "When I walked Calvin Klein, all of my roommates watched the live stream and were cheering me on the entire way. I didn't expect to make friends so quickly, and I know these are relationships that I'll have for a lifetime."

Following the Calvin Klein show, Williams landed a spot alongside Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber to model Marc Jacobs for New York Fashion Week. Now that that's over, she'll continue to study graphic design in addition to modeling. "I love to create, and will never stop creating art, no matter what I am doing in my life," she told Vogue.

To practice for her upcoming shows overseas, Williams says she's wearing heels to the grocery store, adding, "Models do not get enough credit for walking in those crazy shoes — they make it look so easy!"
