5 Sizzling New Summer Cocktails At LA's Crafty Roger Room Bar

Los Angeles' award-winning mixology bar, the Roger Room, has put its behind-the-bar experts to work concocting five new $16 cocktails for the city's already hot summer.

Taking a cue from the kitchen's seasonal menu of summer produce from local farms, the summer bar program turned to seasonal fruit to freshen up its artisanal drinks menu, created by the speakeasy's bar crew: Bruce Hood, Anthony Ristow, and Damian Windsor. The trio also selected several new and noteworthy liquors and liqueurs. Every ingredient meets the standards of the Roger Room's slogan: "The best of everything, nothing but the best."

Here's an illustrated guide to the colorful summer cocktail menu:

Chamberlain's Sunset, created by Bruce Hood. Casa Noble blanco, Grand Poppy liqueur, blood orange juice, mandarin orange juice, lemon juice, and spiced simple syrup, with black Hawaiian sea salt rim, served up.

Coctel Alternativa, also created by Hood. Mezcal Uñion, Combier liqueur de rose, Kina l'Aero d'Or, pink peppercorn bitters, and lemon peel, served up.

Kirk Gibson, created by Anthony Ristow. Absolut Elyx vodka, Dolin dry vermouth, white vinegar, cocktail onion brine, Tabasco, cocktail onion garnish, served up.

Demasque, also created by Ristow. Sipsmith gin, Coco Reàl, fresh lime, and Angostura bitters.

Temptress, created by Damian Windsor. Starr African rum, Amero aperitif, Torani amer, pomegranate, and orange wedge, served on the rocks.
