Denny's Customer Throws Punches Over All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes

A disagreement over what the phrase "all you can eat" means when applied to pancakes sparked a brawl at a Denny's this week, when a customer in Chicago took umbrage at the idea that she was not allowed to give pancakes to her friends.

According to Fox Chicago, a 27-year-old woman was eating with her friends at a Denny's restaurant in Oak Lawn, and she ordered the "all-you-can-eat" pancake special for $4. The pancake special is certainly a good deal, but not quite as good of a deal as the woman thought, because she started sharing her pancakes with all her friends at the table.

When a waitress corrected the customer and pointed out that the deal did not mean $4 for all the pancakes the customer and everyone at your table can eat, the customer was incensed. She reportedly cursed out the waitress and tried to throw some wild punches before running out of the building without paying.

Police caught the diners relatively quickly and arrested the woman on charges of assault and property damage for kicking the door on her way out. Her party was also made to pay for their meal.
