Deep-Fried Twinkie Burger Unveiled At Philadelphia's PYT

Deep-fried Twinkies are a staple for state fairs. But what happens when they become a burger bun? Oh, boy.

PYT in Philadelphia is known for their crazy burgers, like the bacon taco shell burger. Now, owner Tommy Up announced via Facebook that he has created the Deep-Fried Twinkie Burger.

It is a pork belly patty topped with American cheese and bacon, stuffed between two deep-fried Twinkies.

The first 15 burgers were given away for free, but they'll be selling for $12.

There is nothing wrong with taking advantage of Twinkies now that they're back, right? Right.

PYT is known for their insane burger creations, including a spaghetti burger (which seems to be their take of the famous ramen burger) and a deep-fried lasagna and meatball burger, made with two deep-fried ricotta and mozzarella lasagna slices and a beef meatball patty.

Tommy Up has no regrets in creating this burger, but appeared a bit apologetic for unleashing it upon the world. He said over Facebook, "We are sorry about this, but someone had to do it."

All we can wonder is what this burger genius will create next.
