New Orleans' Daisy Dukes Opens A New Seafood Market
Inside of Daisy Dukes petite, roadside Metairie location lies a big menu loaded with New Orleans favorites, including specialty salads and boiled seafood. The quaint restaurant opened two years ago, and is one of three Daisy Dukes locations in the New Orleans area. On May 1st, the restaurant debuted a brand new seafood market.
As a customer myself, I witnessed how popular and delicious their food is. Locals piled in one after the other for the best-selling dish: crawfish. Small spicy mountains on platters adorned almost every table like centerpieces. Waitresses were very attentive with napkins and refills. Above the sounds of cracking and slurping, I could hear conversation between patrons about their experience and food cooked to perfection.
New Orleans hosts events year round, which typically leaves Downtown pretty busy. Now, when Jefferson Parish residents want a taste of Daisy Dukes, they won't have to go too far from home.
