Here's a fantastic libation that nods to the classical cocktail revival. Created by Spago Las Vegas Master Mixologist Peter Vitolo, it's served at all of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants in Las Vegas, except CUT. This mix of gin, orange-flavored Cointreau, golden Cocchi Americano, and other flavorful ingredients was quoted as the hair of the dog hangover cure circa 1920s and 30s.

Ingredients
  • 1.5 ounce brokers gin
  • .75 ounce cointreau
  • .75 ounce cocchi americano
  • .5 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3 sprays of absinthe
  • 1 luxardo cherry (garnish)
Directions
  1. Add ingredients to shaker with ice. Shake. Spray glass with Absinthe. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with cherry.
