Sweet Ways To Show Love For Your Favorite Vegan On Valentine's Day
Banana, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Sauce Sundae. Dairy-filled ice cream has nothing on this (surprisingly healthy) vegan dessert. Mix frozen bananas with maple syrup and peanut butter and top it all off with a hot chocolate sauce.
Carrot Cake Bites. An easy no-bake treat you can share with vegans and non-vegans alike. Puréed dates and raisins create an all-natural source of sugar for these cake bites.
Fudgy Brownies. If you thought you needed butter and eggs to create moist, fudgy brownies, you'd be wrong. Mashed banana replaces the eggs without adding too much banana-y flavor. Top these vegan brownies with confectioners sugar just before serving.
Strawberry-Coconut Mousse Cups. Stuff phyllo dough cups with a tofu-based vegan mousse for these simple sweet treats.
Sugar Cookies. This one basic sugar cookie recipe can be transformed into whatever your Valentine is in the mood for: lemon drizzle, double chocolate chip, and cookie sandwiches.
