Cinnabon Testing 'Pizzabon' On Atlanta

In an effort to break away from the crying, sugar-addicted crowd, and perhaps go for the late-night munchies crowd, Cinnabon is apparently testing out something called the Pizzabon.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Atlanta-based chain, which unsurprisingly loses a lot of customers during actual meal times, is looking to expand the menu.

In a new test café, they're debuting croissants, an apple danish, cupcakes, breakfast sandwiches, and iced coffees — perhaps they're looking to be the next Dunkin' Donuts?

The best creation, however, has to be the Pizzabon, available at Atlanta's Cumberland Mall. The original story doesn't say much about this creation, but thanks to Eater and AJC critic John Kessler, the word has gotten out. Naturally, Cinnabon will be giving out free Pizzabons this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We're actually expecting a Baconbun next. Check out the Pizzabon photo below.
