Chocolate Mint Toothpaste Cleans Teeth, Tastes Like Candy

Minty fresh toothpaste is just great, aside from a tendency to make orange juice taste awful, but it's 2017 and there's no reason a toothpaste can't taste like anything a person wants. Now one Japanese brand has decided toothpaste should taste like mint chocolate chip ice cream.

According to Rocket News 24, the new Mint Choco toothpaste from a brand called Claudia  is as minty and refreshing as a regular old mint-flavored toothpaste, but it has the added benefit of also tasting like chocolate.

Mint and chocolate is a great flavor pairing for things like ice cream and peppermint patties, so it makes sense that it'd be a good try for a "gourmet" toothpaste. The Claudia product even looks like mint chocolate chip ice cream–it's white, with tiny little dark flecks that look like chocolate chips.

The toothpaste does just what toothpaste is supposed to. It fights cavities, cleans teeth, and freshens breath just like an ordinary toothpaste. The toothpaste is available from the Claudia website, but it does cost a little over $15, which is a whole lot more than a standard drugstore brand. Those don't taste like chocolate, though.
