Calafia Marinade

Created by the former executive chef of Google, this recipe is healthy yet still adds a punch of flavor to any piece of meat you're marinating.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups wheat-free tamari*
  • 1 Cup organic sugar
  • 10 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 Tablespoons smashed ginger
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 Cup canola oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground cloves

Directions

Whisk all of the wet ingredients together, and then add the dry ingredients. Marinate protein in a large Ziploc bag for at least 4 hours. If using beef, marinate overnight.
