The Burger Melt At The 50 Yard Lounge

One of the biggest days of the sports year is fast-approaching: Super Bowl Sunday. If you're looking for a place to get a good, sporty meal or to sample a few new dishes while in town for the big game, The 50 Yard Lounge is giving you access to all things football.

The 50 Yard Lounge will be taking over One Penn Plaza in New York City from Jan. 29 until Feb. 2, 2014. The lounge is the ultimate food, drink, and football experience featuring established chefs from around the nation. The A-list participants include Michelin-starred chefs and James Beard Award-winners, many of whom have created dishes especially for the event.

Here at The Daily Meal, we have been previewing some of the delicious food you will find at The 50 Yard Lounge. In today's demonstration, Spencer Rubin, the managing partner at the Melt Shop in New York City, shows us his twist on a burger, grilled cheese-style.
