Beyoncé Toasts To The 10th Anniversary Of Jay-Z's "40/40" Club In NYC

Jay-Z and wife, Beyoncé Knowles have something to celebrate—and it isn't the rumored pregnancy announcement we've all been waiting for! Last night, Monday June 17, in NYC, the music industry unstoppable pair attended the 10th anniversary of the Grand Opening of Jay-Z's 40/40 Club and Sports Bar. Putting pregnancy rumors to rest, Beyoncé (along with her hubby) enjoyed several glasses of champagne as they toasted to the success of the NYC nightspot and lounged on the club's couches.

Made known by the NY DAILY NEWS, a plethora of rap stars, actors, socialites, reality TV stars, and a ton of professional athletes joined the Brooklyn native rap star and his wife at the celebratory bash. Sharply dressed stars attending the chic shindig included rapper T.I., singers Maxwell, Adrienne Bailon, Kylie Minogue, Jessica Sanchez, T.V. personality Bethenny Frankel, business tycoon Robert Kraft, and actress Ricki Noel. New york athletes like Knicks star Amare Stoudemire, the Yankees' Robinson Cano, the New York Giants' Victor Cruz, and New York Jets' Geno Smith, also all scattered the Sports Bar's floors. Notably missing from the gathering was Kim Kardashian's baby daddy, Kanye West, a close friend of the couple, whose album, Yeezus, drops today.

Stated by MarieClaire.com, Jay-Z opened the New York sports bar in June 2003 and gave it a $10 million refurbishment two years ago after being shut down for 6 months after health code violations. The venue, also has sister clubs in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The name of the club is borrowed from the baseball term used to denote the exclusive group of Major League Baseball players who have achieved the rare feat of recording 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season. With the numerous recent triumphs the couple have been experiencing as of late, from the birth of their daughter to new music, tours, and collaborations, it seems like the Carter clan has hit a grand slam.
