Autumn Leaves Cocktail

Toast to the fall season with this cocktail from Duane Fernandez Jr., the resident mixologist at Entwine in New York's West Village.


  • Fresh mint
  • 1 bar spoon tamarind purée
  • 2 oz Evan Williams Black Label Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz honey syrup
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 oz Allspice Dram Liqueur
  • Ice


Smack a handful of mint to release the oil (no muddling!).

Add all of the ingredients to a pint glass and shake vigorously.

Strain, and serve into a Martini glass, or strain and serve over fresh ice in a highball glass. Garnish with a mint sprig.
