As an undergraduate student, she joined the independent student newspaper as a copy editor and later went on to write about health and wellness for digital publications like HuffPost, Refinery29, Greatist, Blood & Milk, and many more. As her interest in food writing emerged, Tšhegofatšo started writing for digital food publications, including Food52 and Life & Thyme, before joining Static Media in 2022. When she's not working, she can be found exploring the cultural arts and food landscapes while traveling, experimenting with a range of indigenous grains to bake desserts, and savoring warm beverages after her hikes.

Education

Tšhegofatšo has a bachelor's degree from the University of Pretoria, majoring in psychology and criminology. She also has an honors degree in psychology from the University of Cape Town, where she is completing her master's degree in clinical psychology.
