Experience
Sam received his first byline at the age of 15 and has been working as a critic, copywriter, journalist, and editor ever since. Having grown up as a picky eater, researching, editing, and reading about food for a living has been a much-welcomed way to expand his palate. Sam loves cooking every day, trying out new recipes that seem daunting, and finding new ways to elevate comforting classics. Sam joined Static Media in 2021, where he edited for brands such as Tasting Table, Mashed, Food Republic, Chowhound, and Looper. He is currently the lead editor of Daily Meal news.

Sam received a bachelor's degree in film from Full Sail University.
