- Randy started writing about food culture in San Francisco. As a food critic for the Palos Verdes Peninsula News, he enjoyed eating his way up and down the 405, enjoying all the culinary delights that Southern California has to offer.
- In 2009, he became one of the leading editors for Livestrong, a health & wellness platform dedicated to eating well, becoming fit, and living a more holistic lifestyle.
- He's grateful to live in a city of spectacular cooking. Randy loves dining his way through PDX and often talks with area chefs and bartenders about their lovely and delicious inventions.
Experience
Randy joined Static Media in 2019 as a VO scriptwriter and has since been following his health & wellness passion, editing for Daily Meal, Health Digest, and Food Republic. He has been a professional writer and editor for more than two decades. Out of university, he became a features writer and associate editor for several trade magazines — including the initial launching of Southland Green Cuisine. Randy eventually moved into journalism as a full-time reporter and editor in the food, and arts & entertainment arenas.

Randy graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from San Francisco State University.
