- Andrew became obsessed with the Food Network after his children were born. While it began as an easy thing to watch while his kids couldn't move (much), it eventually became a training ground for dealing with picky eaters.
- He was twice selected for the ABC Discovers Showcase as a writer, getting to see his work performed by professional actors in both New York and LA under the ABC Network banner.
- Andrew hosted a long-running improv podcast called "Half White Son of a Black Man" for six years that saw him work with incredibly funny people, discussing everything from politics to entertainment to horror movies.
Experience
Andrew is a writer/director who began his creative journey in NYC in 2007. After a brief stint as a stand-up comedian, he went on to write a graphic novel, "Gwendolyn," that was published in 2013 and parlayed that into a screenwriting career. He has since written and directed several short films that have had healthy festival runs and has been a scribe for Random Access Theater in NYC since 2019. His online work has appeared on websites such as Pajiba and Dread Central. He's also the father to, and personal chef for, twin boys. That includes cooking everything from homemade french fries to pan-seared salmon.
