Amy Schumer Leaves Waiter A 1,000-Percent Tip

One of the best things about being rich and famous is probably the ability to spread the wealth around and really make someone's day, as comedian Amy Schumer did this week when she reportedly left a 1000-percent tip at a Long Island clam bar.

According to Page Six, the Inside Amy Schumer star was reportedly seen at Peter's Clam Bar, a 75-year-old seafood restaurant on Long Island. In addition to ordering some clams, Schumer had an  "engaging, animated conversation with her server, Ryan," a witness said.

At some point during the conversation, Schumer's engaging, animated server happened to mention that he was a college student who was working two jobs to pay for school.

While getting to tell everyone he knows that he hung out with comedian Amy Schumer was probably a pretty cool thing for her server, he got an even bigger surprise when he took her check and realized she had left him a $500 tip. Schumer's bill had only come to $49, which means she tipped more than 1,000 percent.
