According To Survey, Women Love Ice Cream, Men Love Potbelly
It's no surprise that in the list of chain restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang's take the top spots. The more interesting factoids include how different men and women are, and NRN has revealed which demographic likes what. The results? Not that surprising.
A favorite for female surveyors was Marble Slab Creamery and Cheesecake Factory, while male subjects chose Potbelly Sandwich Works and P.F. Chang's China Bistro. So basically, women love sweets and men love meat and Chinese food. Surprise, surprise.
Among millenials (those born between 1982 and 2000, although subjects had to be at least 17 to participate), In-N-Out and Bonefish Grill were the most popular.
In general, Marble Slab Creamery and The Cheesecake Factory were the highest ranked in their category, as well as Cracker Barrel for family dining. And despite the recent slew of bad press, Chick-fil-A still made it into NRN's top five limited restaurant chains. Whether or not the survey was done before this wave of press is unknown.
