2013 Atlanta Food & Wine Festival In Pictures

The 2013 Atlanta Food & Wine Festival was, like many things in the South (I can say that, I'm from there): big.

In addition to several special dinners, the weekend included learning experiences (more than 90 cooking and cocktail demonstrations, technique labs, food and beverage tasting seminars, and panel discussions), and a Midtown lot brimming with vendors from across the Southeast.

Although I was unfortunately not there for the entire weekend, I was lucky enough to sample each: a walk around the tasting tents, Friday night's stellar dinner, a class with the Lee Bros., and Saturday night's soirée hosted by Blackberry Farm. I regretted that I couldn't have tasted and seen more, but in all honesty, I really don't know how I could have actually swallowed another bite.

Check out our slideshow to see some of my favorite moments from the weekend and be sure to keep an eye on the festival's website for information and updates about next year's event. Trust me: you do not want to miss this much barbecue, microbrew, and all-around culinary talent in one setting.
