Mother's Day 2023 is just around the corner on Sunday, May 14, and the time to start making plans is now. What better way to say I love you than with a spectacular meal eaten with loved ones? Sure, you could spend hours or even days in the kitchen preparing a mouthwatering meal for the family from recipes that famous chefs use when they want to cook something special for their favorite lady.

Or you can save yourself all that time and effort and opt to eat at one of the many American restaurant chains that are crafting plates and cocktails with mom in mind. Breakfast in bed has become a Mother's Day tradition. Who wouldn't want to wake up to a freshly made meal without having to leave your cozy comforter? If you're not so good with flipping flap jacks, Cracker Barrel can help with their buffet-style catering offerings put together specifically for this holiday.

The Momma's Pancake Breakfast Bundle, which serves 10, comes with buttermilk pancakes and syrup. You also have a choice between the Egg n' Cheese Hashbrown Casserole, ham, scrambled eggs, or the Garden Veggie Casserole. Then, pick from bacon, sausage, Impossible sausage, or chicken sausage. There's also a second catering option if you're hosting Mother's Day brunch. The All-Day Pancake Breakfast Family Meal Basket comes with scrambled eggs and pancakes along with the Hashbrown Casserole or fried apples and a choice of meat.

Both specials are also offered as single to-go meals, but if you buy the basket or bundle, you'll also get a $10 digital bonus card. Just be sure to place your order in-store or online between May 13 and May 14 and schedule it for Mother's Day pick-up or delivery to qualify for the $10 bonus card, which will be valid from May 13 through Father's Day on June 18.

Kona Grill's menu of modern American cuisine has something for everyone, including sushi with fish from the Pacific Ocean. This Mother's Day, they'll be offering a special menu for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner (all day) to honor Mom.

The heartiest brunch option is a 12-ounce grilled ribeye drizzled in peppercorn sauce with two eggs any way you'd like. It comes with grilled asparagus, melting potatoes, and a choice of bacon or sausages for $39. The Crab Eggs Benedict also comes with breakfast potatoes and the same vegetable side for $22. Other items are under $20 and include the Macadamia Nut French Toast with fresh berries, mint, and honey butter; Bananas Foster Pancake with walnuts; and the All American, two eggs made to your preference with an English muffin, spuds, and a pork choice.

The dinner special is the Prime Rib Surf & Turf for $46, which comes with a prime rib topped with togarashi jus and horseradish cream, two grilled prawns, and a side of miso whipped potatoes. A Yuzu Lime Bar with raspberries and whipped cream will be offered for dessert. If you're looking for something lighter, Kona Grill is known for its dozens of low-calorie options.

P.F. Chang's is a great go-to place when you're looking for irresistible and freshly made Asian cuisine. We'll love the Chang's Lettuce Wraps forever. This Mother's Day, the restaurant chain will be offering a four-course meal celebration menu. And guess what's on the menu?!

Yes, those succulent chicken lettuce wraps, which can also be made vegetarian, are one of the appetizer choices. Others include fried or steamed dumplings with a light chili sauce or tempura fried shrimp in a sriracha aioli. The soup offerings are classic egg drop, wonton, or hot and sour. A six-layer chocolate cake or New York cheesecake is available for dessert. A Red Velvet Cheesecake will be offered for Mother's Day as an off-menu item. The offering also comes with a glass of champagne, white, or red wine. Mother's Day take-out deals that come with lettuce wraps, soup, a noodle or rice, and an entree are also available. You can order this option for two, four, or six.

The warm atmosphere and authentic American-Italian recipes make eating at Maggiano's Little Italy feel like you're at Sunday dinner with the family. And there's something for the whole gang on the Mother's Day menu, whether you want to dine in or eat at home.

On Mother's Day at Maggiano's, you'll be presented with complimentary freshly baked bread and lemon ricotta with asparagus crostini. The first course begins with salad: a Caesar or the restaurant chain's signature salad with red onions, smoked bacon, crumbled blue cheese, and house dressing. In the next course, you'll choose two entrees, two pastas, and two sides. This includes Red Snapper Lobster Cream Sauce and spinach, Mom's Lasagna, and white bean and sausage cassoulet.

Course three offers two desserts from four choices, like the Berry Tiramisu. You can also add a beverage, including Maggiano's Italian Sangria or a mimosa. This family-style menu is charged per person in your party. The restaurant will also have a Mother's Day Carryout Bundle available that feeds four to six for $160 and includes a salad, two kinds of pasta, two meat dishes, two sides, two desserts, and freshly baked bread.

Bobs Evans will bring your Mother's Day brunch or dinner straight to your door, but they'd also love you to bring your mom and your family to dine with them at one of their many locations. There are plenty of family-sized brunch catering options (including the Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich Bundle and the Farmer's Choice Family Breakfast) for delivery or pick-up from this beloved chain.

Ruth's Chris Steak House will open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The chain will also offer a three-course prix fixe dinner for Mother's Day weekend. There will be five different offerings on the late-morning menu. Seafood plates include a 6-ounce fish filet topped with crab meat and sriracha aioli, the Crab Stack with a colossal-sized lump crab with mango, cucumber, and avocado, and a sea bass encrusted with garlic and drizzled with lemon butter over a bed of spinach.

The Mother's Day Brunch menu also lists a Caesar salad with blackened chicken over romaine hearts and shaved parmesan and romano cheeses, and the Brunch Burger, a half pound of prime beef topped with an egg, bacon, and a side of fries.

The Mother's Day Prix Fixe menu was hand-selected by Ruth's Chris Steak House chefs to give your mom an optimal experience. The meal starts with the choice of lobster bisque, a Caesar salad, or the Steak House Salad. There are three entree options, including a 6-ounce steak filet with three large shrimp or a lobster tail, and the Chef Features Fish & Shrimp with a blackened piece of fish topped with shrimp covered in the restaurant's New Orleans BBQ Butter. All entrees come with a side of creamed spinach or garlic mashed potatoes. It also comes with a dessert of the chef's choice.

Seasons 52 is offering both dine-in and catering options for Mother's Day. A brunch of seasonal fare (fresh whole produce, entrees grilled on an oak fire, and 52 different wines) will be served at the restaurant chain from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The brunch menu comes with a refreshing choice of cocktails mom is sure to love. Appetizer choices include a variety of salads, avocado toast, or sausage and kale flatbread. There are three soups to choose from: lobster bisque, asparagus, and potato leak. The four entrees include two seafood options: wood-grilled shrimp over stone-ground grits with chorizo, tomatoes, and bacon; and a lump crab and aged cheddar quiche with marble potatoes, asparagus, and hollandaise. There's also spiral ham covered in an apricot glaze, with French green beans and mashed sweet potatoes with maple pecan streusel, along with french toast with maple-vanilla ice cream, bacon, and blueberry compote.

If you prefer to eat at home, you can pick up a Mother's Day Green Box, which serves four to six people, on Saturday, May 13, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. It comes with a choice of beef tenderloin, cedar plank-roasted salmon, or apricot-glazed spiral ham. All boxes include a salad of greens and two sides and six mini desserts.
