New York City's Dead Rabbit, Voted Best Bar In The World, Is Coming To London

The Dead Rabbit in New York City ranked No. 1 on the World's 50 Best Bars list in 2016 and is now taking the Irish tavern on the road with a week-long pop-up in London. The pop-up will take over Claridge's Bar in Mayfair from August 15 through August 22.

To completely recreate the experience of New York City's Water Street location, the pop-up will also include ragtime piano playing and replicated "graphic comic-style" cocktail menus, according to the press release. The pop-up will recreate the original bar's second-floor "Parlour" with select signature cocktails, such as its Irish coffee, and menu specials, including lobster devilled eggs, Cumberland sausage rolls, and Irish lamb stew.

"We both used to work at The Merchants hotel in Belfast, so hotel life is in our blood," Jack McGarry, who co-founded the Dead Rabbit with Sean Muldoon, said in a statement. "We're looking forward to taking up residence in London and bringing some Dead Rabbit magic to such a prestigious address as Claridge's."
