Our Readers' Go-To Party Recipes

Within the next few months, party season will begin full force — spring will turn into summer and that means outdoor hosting, passed hors d' oeuvres and finger foods, and exciting menus. We know what we’re cooking up here at The Daily Meal, but we’re wondering what’s going on in your kitchen.

Last week, we reached out to you — our readers — and asked what your go-to party recipes are. What’s cooking in the kitchen for the big game, the monthly ladies brunch, and at your kids’ parties? The holidays usually mean traditional menus, but what graces your plates during the rest of the year?

Though the responses were mixed, one thing was ever clear — comfort food is king. With the exception of a few dishes, it seems as though reader go-to recipes consist of dishes that are close to home, whether they were part of childhood memories, a family member’s beloved recipe, or featured prominently on the table during a title-clinching win.
