Want to Learn All the Secret Menu Items at Your Favorite Restaurants? There’s an App for That
With all the buzz surrounding secret menu hacks, it’s becoming hard to keep your Starbucks Captain Crunch Frappuccinos and Arby’s Meat Mountains straight.Although The Daily Meal has reported diligently on each of these under-the-radar menu items, now there’s an app for that.
Introducing Off the Menu, a new free smartphone app, available for download on iTunes and Android that will keep you in the loop concerning the secret cool stuff you could order at Chipotle, In N’ Out, Shake Shack, and more. Apparently, there are even off-menu delicacies at high-end restaurants like Gramercy Tavern in New York City and Spago in Beverly Hills. Currently there are more than 400 restaurants in 16 cities around the country featured on the app.
“There are some more well-known off menu items like In-N-Out’s Animal Style burger and fries or Chipotle’s nachos, but we are uncovering more and more every day in restaurants all over the country,” the app’s developer, Lawrence Longo, told The Daily Meal. “We take our research very seriously at Off The Menu — it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it. Our main goal is to make dining experiences more exciting.”
