This High Schooler Took The Best Senior Pictures At Taco Bell

For some, taking high school senior pictures can be daunting and sometimes awkward, but one senior managed to stay comfortable by holding his photo shoot in one of his favorite places. Andrew McBurnie at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Bradley, Illinois, went all-out and dressed up in a navy tuxedo, but he didn't wear it standing in a field of flowers or against a traditional, single-toned wall — he took his senior pictures at Taco Bell.

"Taco Bell has always been a place me and my friends would go throughout high school," McBurnie told Daily Journal. "And people who know me know how much I love being there, so I knew getting some photos done would make some people laugh. It ended up going way farther than I had planned."

His photographer, Wesley Taylor, was able to capture the striking photographs, including shots of McBurnie sipping on Pepsi and with a crunchy taco in hand.

"When Andrew and I decided to give the Taco Bell session a shot, we honestly had no idea what to expect. Fortunately the employees were super accommodating and we had the place to ourselves for most of the time," Taylor told The Daily Meal.

"I'd heard that Taco Bell senior pictures had been done before, but I wanted to put my own spin on them — so we went for a blown-out, teen fashion magazine aesthetic, and Andrew nailed it. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Plus, we got to smash a ton of tacos after the shoot — what more could you ask for?"

The viral photos caught the attention of Taco Bell, who tweeted that McBurnie could be "Taco Bell's next top model."

This isn't the first time a senior's love for Taco Bell has been documented in a yearbook — Brittany Nicole Creech of St. Louis, Missouri, also took senior pictures at the fast-food restaurant in 2015.
