Introducing Starbucks' New Fall Flavor: The Maple Pecan Latte

Move over Pumpkin Spice Latte, there's a new Starbucks flavor in town. To help welcome fall, the massive coffee chain announced a new seasonal latte: Maple Pecan. Yes, another warming, comforting Thanksgiving pie is getting its own latte starting on Sept. 21.

As the name suggests, the Maple Pecan Latte infuses the nuttiness of a meaty, fresh pecan with the syrupy sweetness of maple.

"Our espresso shot is the core of our handcrafted beverages," Debbie Antonio from the Starbucks Beverage Research and Development team, said in a statement. "The flavors of maple and pecan perfectly balance the inherent sweet and nutty flavors of espresso."

A new latte isn't all Starbucks is brewing up this autumn. The company also announced a new line of seasonal drinkware. Your PSL and MPL will come in jewel-toned cups in shades of orange, teal, and plum that help to celebrate the warmth and playfulness of fall.

The fall cups join Starbucks' other seasonal lines, which include specialty cups for spring and the winter holidays.
