Ruth's Chris Steak House's New Filet And Wine Deal Won't Break The Bank

If you're seeking an upscale dining experience that will still be wallet-friendly, Ruth's Chris Steak House will be offering new limited-time seasonal menu items for you to take advantage of, starting today. For a satisfying, yet affordable meal, diners can enjoy a steak and wine pairing dinner, according to a press release sent to Daily Meal.

The Filet & Cabernet Pairing includes a 6-ounce filet, a cut of steak known for being extremely tender. The restaurant dry-ages its cuts for 28 days before serving to enhance the tenderness and flavor of the meat even more. The steak is then topped off with three large shrimp.

Along with the steak, customers can sip on a glass of DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was chosen by the restaurant to pair well with the flavors of the steak and shrimp. Together, the steak and wine pairing will cost $38. However, those interested in this deal must note that it's only available at the bar.

The seasonal menu includes a new cocktail, too

If you aren't planning on drinking a glass of wine with your meal, a similar surf and turf option can also be ordered as part of the Ruth's Classics prix fixe special or a la carte menus.

In addition to the steak and wine deal, Ruth's Chris Steak House will also be serving a fall-themed cocktail, should you choose to pair your meal with something a little stronger. Diners can sip on the Fireside Old Fashioned Cocktail — a new take on the classic drink. The cocktail blends together Elijah Craig small batch bourbon, which lends a slightly smoky, spiced, vanilla flavor to the drink.

Demerara syrup, Amaro averna, and angostura and chocolate bitters round out the cocktail, adding some subtle sweetness and bittersweet notes to the old fashioned. The drink will cost $17 at participating Ruth's Chris Steak House bars.

Both the cocktail and the steak and wine pairing will be available to order at participating Ruth's Chris Steak House locations across the country for a limited time beginning October 23, 2023.
