You Absolutely Need This Wine App: Drync, The 'Shazam' Of Drink Apps

Yep, we need this. We always love a good app that's geared toward folks who love to drink, and now we have one that makes buying wines you know you'll like a snap. 

The newest wine app to hit the market, Drync, lets you scan the label of the wine you just guzzled in a heartbeat — we mean, drank in a leisurely fashion — and buy it on the spot, Mashable reports. Imagine it as the "Shazam" app of wine: you'll never be stumped by the bottle you're drinking and unable to find it again. "It occurred to me that capturing your wine life via your phone was a killer app for people like me who enjoyed wine and were interested in learning more," said Brad Rosen, the founder and CEO of Drync, to Mashable. 

What makes Drync a notch above the rest is the sheer amount of wines in its portfolio. Using similar technologies to Google Goggles or other camera-based apps, it can identify 1.7 million wine varieties; if you want to buy, Drync offers 30,000 wines through its partners. (Techhive notes that most wine apps offer just a small percentage of that.)
