  • ¼ Cup sugar
  • ¼ Cup water
  • ½ Cup guava nectar
  • ¼ Cup orange juice
  • ¼ Cup passion fruit puree
  • ¼ Cup pineapple juice
  • 6 Tablespoons dark rum
  • 4 Teaspoons grenadine
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice


In a large saucepan, make simple syrup by boiling the sugar and water together for 2 minutes. Take the syrup from the heat and stir in the guava nectar, orange juice, passion fruit purée, pineapple juice, rum, grenadine, and lime juice. Chill the mixture if it’s still slightly warm and then freeze in an ice-cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
