Mocha Pumpkin-Spice Smoothie

A seasonal smoothie with a kick

"The flavors of chocolate, coffee, and pumpkin collide in this seasonal nutrient-dense smoothie. If you’re the type that relies on a daily java jolt to wake up, this smoothie will do exactly that—and so much more!

For a thicker smoothie, pumpkin puree can be frozen in ice cube trays ahead of time and used rather than ice cubes. This will not only thicken the consistency, but also prevent the smoothie’s flavor from becoming diluted. It’s also a great way to use up any extra pumpkin purée."



For the Smoothie

  • 1 Scoop mocha protein powder, like Mocha Vega Sport Performance Protein
  • 1 Cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 Cup unsweetened pumpkin purée
  • 1/2 Cup chilled coffee
  • 1 Teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 6-8 Ice cubes


For the Smoothie

Place all ingredients except ice in a high-powered blender and blend until completely smooth.

Toss in the ice cubes and continue blending until no chunks remain.

Pour into a tall glass and serve.
