  • 5 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can (16 ounces) navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup boston lager beer, such as samuel adams
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 package mccormick tex mex chili seasoning mix
  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon and onion on medium-high heat until bacon is crisp.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
