Pinterest Debuts Secret Boards

Just in case you aren't addicted to Pinterest already, there's a new reason to love the virtual inspiration board site — the new secret boards. As if it wasn't enough to give users a space to keep track of every aspect of their lives, from their favorite dishes to dream vacation spots to wedding decoration ideas, now things are getting even more interesting. 

Pinterest creators Ben Silbermann and wife Divya made this announcement yesterday: 

"Today, we're excited to continue this tradition with a new feature we hope will make Pinterest even better — secret boards. Secret boards give you a place for things you're not quite ready to share yet, like a surprise party, special gift ideas, or even planning for a new baby. We're testing out the feature by giving everyone three secret boards."

Keep your guests in suspense by creating a party theme or a dinner menu in secret, pin your Christmas wish list before you're ready to share it, or prep for a surprise party or a surprise shower without the guest of honor knowing. 

With three boards to start, there are so many opportunities! What are we pinning in secret? Ha! Like we'd tell you.
