You won’t find any KFC Double Downs or Taco Bell waffle tacos on this list. The 2nd annual Chowzter Awards recognize the best “fast feasts” in the world, from street food, to food court dishes and other fast food eateries. This year’s overall best fast food in the world went to the ceviche at Chez Wong in Lima, Peru. The ceviche is prepared in the traditional Peruvian way, with the sashimi-grade octopus and flounder resting in a bowl of tiger’s milk. Chowzter also recognized the best seafood, vegetarian dish, rice dish, noodles, sandwich, bakery items, and pizza.

The United States won three global honors: Best Pizza in the world went to Di Fara’s square pie in Brooklyn, the Best Sandwich was awarded to the Caribbean roast sandwich from Paseo in Seattle, and the Tastiest Dish in North America was the Banh Mi at Franks n’ Dawgs in Chicago.

Best Rice Dish: Hainanese chicken rice at Tian Tian, Singapore
Best Bird Dish: Roast Goose at Yat Lok, Hong Kong, China
Best Bakery Dish: Fried Jam Croissant at Albion, London, England
Best in Europe: Pide ustu doner at Karadeniz Pide Doner Salonu, Istanbul, Turkey
Best in Latin America: Mole Poblana at La Casita Poblana, Puebla, Mexico
Best in Asia: Stuffed Lechón at Pepita's Kitchen, Manila, Phillipines
