On Thursday, October 23, guest Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers) will kick off the very first installment of The Brisket Sessions, a new series of “slow cooked conversations featuring celebrities, politicians, and business people who are making an impact in Brooklyn and beyond,” at Hill Country Barbecue Market in Brooklyn.
LinkedIn’s executive editor Dan Roth will moderate the live discussion covering Meyer’s career, his comedic origins, “how he likes his chicken,” and more.
The talk will conclude with a Q&A session with the audience.
The Brisket Sessions will take place on the upper level of Hill Country in the Live Boot Bar, and will be followed by live music from the Austin-based band Buggaboo.
Admission is free, but reservations are recommended as space is limited. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the talk is scheduled to run from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Later this month, Hill Country Brooklyn is kicking off a corn hole league, and hosting a fall “Fam Jam Fair” event on Saturday, November 1, with family-friendly live music, games, face painting, cupcake decorating and more.
