MAD To Open Office In New York City, Fundraise At Noma Tokyo

MAD, the worldwide collective founded in Copenhagen by René Redzepi made up of chefs, farmers, purveyors, and other industry leaders, has announced international expansion plans that will bring MAD to New York City.

On December 1, the team will open a permanent MAD office in New York City to handle a variety of publishing projects and MAD events within the States. The branch will be run by Gabe Ulla, who will be in charge of hiring MAD New York City's team, as well as writing interns who love food culture.

In other MAD news, Noma at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo will host a fundraiser for the collective, and seats and tables will be available exclusively through an online auction. For anyone who has been unable to secure a table at Noma Japan, the fundraiser is another opportunity to visit the pop-up. For more on the fundraising evening, sign up for updates from MAD.
