Hong Kong McDonald's Introduces Batman Burger
Seemingly unconnected to any film or television adaptations in the works, McDonald's in Hong Kong has recently introduced the Batman Double Diner Beef Burger, which includes two beef patties, cheese, a fried egg, onions, steak sauce, and an additional mysterious white sauce, the contents of which are anyone's guess.
CNET speculates that the Batman Burger is the first in a series celebrating the Justice League and will soon be followed by more burgers dedicated to Superman, Green Lantern, and The Flash.
The full suggested meal includes an order of "squeezy cheesy fries," made of liquid cheese, bacon bits and French fries," and sparkling green-apple tea to go along.
At the very least, maybe this will curb the strange black burger trend happening at McDonald's and Burger King, which sounds like the least appetizing version of a fast food burger in existence. On another note, if any of our readers in Hong Kong want to do a taste test and let us know what that white sauce is made of, do get in touch.
