Quaker Chewy Bars Team Up With Girl Scouts To Make Cookie-Inspired Granola Bars

Girl Scouts and Quaker Chewy Bars have teamed up to make Thin Mints and Caramel Coconut granola bars.

Girl Scout cookies have already been combined with Crunch bars and ice cream sandwiches, so why not Chewy Bars?

The bars contain eight grams of whole grains, and they're topped with a chocolate drizzle. The Thin Mints bars feature chocolate chips and a minty flavor, and the Caramel Coconut variety is, as you may have guessed, made with caramel and coconut.

"We are pleased to be working with The Quaker Oats Company to spread the message of Girl Scouts," Barry Horowitz, chief revenue officer for the Girl Scouts of the USA, said in a press release, "and the impact it can have on a girl's life, to families across America wherever they shop, and to remind them of the fun of Girl Scouting every day."

The Thin Mint-flavored Chewy Bars are currently available throughout the country, and the Caramel Coconut bars will be available at Target and select retailers starting this month. The Caramel Coconut Chewy Bars will be sold nationwide beginning in January 2016.
