Order These 'Lucky' Foods To Help Your Team Win The NCAA Basketball Championship

Many athletes have their game day rituals, one of which involves the NBA's widespread love for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before heading to the court. With only hours left before the NCAA Basketball Championship between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the North Carolina Tar Heels, fans can get in on their own game day meals with Grubhub. The online meal delivery service has collected data from past orders and found out what the top "lucky" foods ordered during winning game days for each team.

In Chapel Hill, North Carolina, egg rolls were ordered 269 percent more during the North Carolina Tar Heels' winning game days than losing game days. Following behind were dumplings at 160 percent, garlic naan at 117 percent, sweet and sour chicken at 84 percent, and cheese pizza at 69 percent. Other lucky foods included garlic knots, chicken tikka masala, spring rolls, pepperoni pizza, and lasagna.

In Spokane, Washington, Mongolian beef was ordered 131 percent more during the Gonzaga Bulldogs' winning game days than losing game days, followed by dumplings at 73 percent, chicken fried rice at 59 percent, chicken teriyaki at 59 percent, and garlic naan at 54 percent.
