The Beloved Cereal Oreo O's Is Finally Back On Shelves!

Get ready, kids: Oreo O's are back on shelves.

Do you remember when a bowl full of cereal meant that you basically spent your mornings chowing down on multicolored sugar? We all have our favorites, but '90s kids are particularly nostalgic for the Oreo O's cereal: the cereal that imitated Milk's Favorite Cookie.

Oreo O's was introduced in 1998, and disappeared off shelves in the United States in 2005. Since then, it's consistently made the top of "Discontinued Foods We Miss the Most" lists online.

Well, good news, sugary cereal fans: Oreo O's are back. After a 12-year hiatus, the crunchy O-shaped mini-cookies coated in crème are coming back, available at a big box retail store near you this June. Only the original flavor will be back, not the extra-creamy kind made with marshmallows (which is still sold in Asian markets).

You may have to wait a couple of days to get you hand on a box (or two or 10), but at least you won't have to enter a bidding war on eBay to spend more than $200 on some counterfeit cereal box online — not that we've tried that or anything.

Of course, eating too many Oreo O's could be a diet-buster. Here are 10 Breakfast Cereals That Have More Sugar Than Candy.
