7-Eleven says the doughnuts are made fresh and delivered to stores daily.

7-Eleven has expanded its snack offerings to include the Twix doughnut, the convenience store’s very first doughnut topped with chocolate bar pieces.

The new doughnut is rectangular — similar to a Twix bar — and is topped with caramel icing, chocolate, and chopped Twix pieces, according to the press release.

"People want to have fun with their food, especially treats," Terrell Smith, fresh bakery category manager at 7-Eleven, said in a statement. "Premium and specialty doughnuts are becoming an all-day impulse item that our customers are purchasing when they crave something sweet. With our Caramel Bar Made with Twix doughnuts, they get two treats in one, a delicious doughnut topped with one of our best-selling candy bars."

The doughnut is available at a suggested retail price of $1.69 for a limited time at participating locations.
