Together with the Great Raft Brewing companythe John Besh Foundation has announced a limited-edition, four-part beer series called Provisions and Traditions — a collaboration between brewer Harvey Kenney and individual chefs from restaurants within the Besh Restaurant Group. Up next will be Volume Two from Miles Landrem, chef de cuisine of Johnny Sánchez, the restaurant from John Besh and Aarón Sánchez. Volume Two will premiere on May 5, Cinco de Mayo.

Details about the remaining beers, Volumes Three and Four, will be announced this fall.

The Provisions and Traditions collaboration will be available at each of the participating restaurants and at select liquor retailers throughout Louisiana, with one dollar from each beer sold going to the John Besh Foundation, which provides scholarships, grants, and loans to individuals in the New Orleans community with the drive to enact change in New Orleans and Louisiana.
