Master Over 5 Million Dishes With This Google Home Feature

Flipping through cookbooks while trying to whip something up in the kitchen can now be a thing of the past with Google Home's latest feature that gives users more than 5 million recipes. The new feature is made in in partnership with leading culinary outlets such as Bon Appetit, The New York Times, and the Food Network.

Through Google Assistant on Google Home, you can follow step-by-step cooking instructions for recipes sent to the device through your phone, according to a Google blog post.

After you select the recipe and you're ready to cook, you can say "Ok, Google, start cooking" or "Ok Google, start recipe." You can also repeat directions by saying "Ok Google, repeat" or "Ok Google, what's step two?"

Audio instructions aren't the only thing you can listen to while cooking with Google Assistant on Google Home — you can also listen to music, ask for measurement conversions, and set timers.
